The U.S. Senate will prepare its package of aid for Israel by the end of this week, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told reporters on Tuesday.
Schumer's comments come after he led a bipartisan group of senators to visit Israel over the weekend. On Monday, he promised to seek a resolution supporting Israel and move to confirm a U.S. ambassador to Israel in addition to passing the additional funds.
