A Noida-based YouTuber, identified as Ajeet Bharti, received a notice from Karnataka Police on Thursday. The notice pertains to a controversial video that references Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
The video titled 'Rahul trying Hard To Fuel Fire, Naseer Wants Modi in Skull Cap' allegedly aims to incite enmity and hatred between communities, according to police.
The notice came after a complaint by B K Bopanna at High Grounds Police Station in Bengaluru on June 15, leading to an FIR under IPC sections 153 and 505(2).
Bharti has been instructed to present himself at the High Grounds Police Station within seven days. A local police officer mentioned that the Karnataka Police arrived at Bharti's residence and served the notice without prior intimation to local authorities.
