Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has declared that the party intends to contest the 2027 elections in Goa and Gujarat independently, choosing not to ally with Congress. She highlighted the AAP's commitment to stand alone in the political arena, citing the absence of ongoing alliance talks.
Atishi criticized the BJP for not keeping election promises in Delhi, such as closing Mohalla clinics and halting free medicine. She accused the BJP of electoral manipulation and failure to deliver promised monetary aid to women in Delhi, claiming the government's intentions were unfulfilled.
Meanwhile, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Amit Patkar labeled discussions on alliances premature, emphasizing the need to strengthen party presence in constituencies. He stressed the cooperative efforts of Congress, AAP, and other opposition parties in raising public issues within the assembly.
