India's Operation Sindoor Strikes 11 Pakistan Airbases Amid Tensions

As Directors General Military Operations (DGMO) talks between India and Pakistan are set to commence at noon on Monday, BJP's Dilip Ghosh has urged the public to place their trust in the government's actions. He assured that necessary steps would be taken by the authorities and expressed support for Congress' call for a special Parliament session, asserting that Rahul Gandhi can rightfully demand it. Ghosh added that if the government deems a session necessary, it will be convened.

In a separate event, India's armed forces held a joint press briefing in New Delhi, detailing the success of 'Operation Sindoor'. Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, Vice Admiral A N Pramod, and Air Marshal A K Bharti announced the operation's impact, confirming targeted strikes on 11 airbases in Pakistan. The operation successfully neutralized over 100 terrorists and aimed at dismantling terror infrastructure while minimizing civilian casualties.

This operation comes in response to the tragic terror attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, which resulted in 26 fatalities. India's strategic response involved precision strikes on terrorist sites, including locations in Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Bahawalpur, effectively ratcheting up tensions between the neighboring countries.
